Designers Eye Circus pillows
First to recommend
Description
The plethora of new felted wool Designers Eye pillows reminds me, on this hot summer day in San Francisco, that it is fall even if global warming doesn’t want it to be. I would have to say that soft felted wool is unquestionably on my list of top five favorite materials and in seeing their pillows with the simple yet classic designs my appreciation for the textile deepens. I actually just recently knitted and felted a handbag of my own, but the weather hasn’t changed enough to welcome it into my daily ensemble. Now I want to add some felted Designers Eye pillows to my sofa…if only the temperature would go down by 15-30 degrees! (via Design Public)

Description
Wenlan Chia founded Twinkle after her handmade chunky knit sweaters caught the eyes of stylish New Yorkers on the street as she strode to class at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her ability to combine advanced knitting with fashion forward ideas made the craft hot again and now she has brought her ideas into the home. Twinkle Living rugs, throws and pillows are whimsical, quirky, sophisticated and accessible home designs for the contemporary collector who appreciates quality fashion. Her Chunky Throw Blankets are completely handknit and crafted of 100% soft wool. (via Design Public)

three sheets 2 the wind Trees Pillow
First to recommend
Description
Jenny Sauer and her three sheets 2 the wind collection will have to make their way into my home fairly soon. I bit the bullet this weekend and purchased a new sofa and now I need some new pillows to adorn the caramel leather. I have difficulty finding just the right pillow amid the vast sea of options because 1.) I have to please my guy with something that doesn’t scream “a girl lives here!” and 2.) I want something that is girly. Jenny Sauer’s touch to her handmade pieces lends a feminine delicate characteristic while the subject matter is simple and subtle. I am thinking I may go for the Trees Pillow or possibly the Fat Trees and Dandelion Pillow. Guys like trees…right? (via design public)

Area Elin Throw Blankets and Shams

Description
Anki Spets and I are in complete agreement with the colors of her Elin Throw Blankets and Shams. If I could pinpoint my #1 ultimate, can’t get enough of it, crave to be outfitted and don my apartment all in one color...it would be gray. If I were to add one or two splashes of color to accent the gray it would be saffron or orange. Then there is navy. Navy complements all of the above and looks like it belongs with anything gray. I can’t think of a single I would add to the gray, orange, saffron, navy mix. Nope, not one. (via Design Public)

Boodalee Throw Pillow - Circus
First to recommend
Description
I am all for elements in a home that have more than one look to them, like the Boodalee Throw Pillows. Why limit yourself to just one image when folks like designer Jeanice Skvaril give you the option to change it up? Some days you might be feeling squirrel-ish…other days you feel homely (i.e. a bird house). Some days you are all about popcorn…others you feel like an elephant. Just turn the pillow over and shazam! The change is made. (via Design Public)

Description
A La Belle Ville! This Mademoiselle cushion is where classic meets modern. An organic Melton wool fabric is used, and layered with organic knit wool stripes. No zippers or other non-biodegradable closures are used on the cushions so they will biodegrade within one year when placed in a composter—don't worry. they will last for years to come! three sheets 2 the wind Rosette Duvet and Shams

Description
Although the term “wabi-sabi” alludes to the notion that nothing is perfect, I think Jenny Sauer of three sheets 2 the wind did a pretty darn perfect job with the composition of her new bedding pieces. Can you imagine relying on your eyes and hands to screen print one of your designs down the middle or straight across a massive duvet? It might sound easy, but no, no, no. It is not. It takes one mighty sharp eye and a skillful set of hands to get it just right. Good show, Jenny Sauer! I think Harry Allen needs to make a resin cast of your special hands. (via Design Public)

Unison Porter Bedding - Charcoal
First to recommend
Description
For all gray lovers out there…Unison’s Fall ‘08 Collection includes charcoal bedding! Yes, I ran around in circles too when I first saw the images. While working in customer service I had many a call asking about the various gray duvet options we have and I am so proud/pleased to say that we have another beautiful piece to add to the list. The charcoal striped “Porter” print is a great clean and minimalist choice for guys and gals alike. Considering that I am going through a major gray loving frenzy right now, this is at the top of my wish list! (via Design Public)

While techniques are traditional, Sanford Burrows designs are decidedly modern. We like to think of it as modern art that's fit for a wall, but made for your bed. (via Design Public)
