I really like the idea for this entire line of products. My mother always told me that beauty is the combination of what you put in your body and what you put on it. Having said that, I still wasn't sure that this line of products would really deliver the goods. However, I have to say that this is actually of the the few serums I have tried that actually sinks into my skin, rather than sitting on top of it or creating a slight film.

This serum really does counteract redness and inflammation - even when I'm PMS-y and my skin is super sensitive, this calms it right down. I haven't had any major breakouts since starting this product, and my skin looks clear and glowy. The scent is a very light herbal scent - a lot nicer than I would have expected a mushroom product to smell. I would continue to use this product. (via Palacinka)

Korres Natural Products Yogurt Mask

Description

This is a very nice mask. It has a smooth, soft texture and glides on easily. The fragrance reminds me more of milk specifically, rather than yogurt, but was still pleasant and had a touch of something sweet which was rather comforting. I used this more on the dryer patches on my skin a few times a week, replacing my usual mask.

My skin felt very plump and I did not get any breakouts which is always my biggest concern. It dried evenly, washed off perfectly too. This is a great mask for hot weather to refresh, and after a workout to cool and calm the skin down as well. (via Palacinka)

Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel for All Skin Types

This is simply heaven in a tube! It’s unlike any other cleanser I've ever used.

It’s a very unique concept – It started out on my face as a gel, and as I massaged it in, it turned into an oil. The oil felt soft and smelled amazing (a lovely orange/tangerine scent), and took off every last trace of my makeup. When I added water to rinse it off, it changed yet again into a cleansing milk and came off easily, with no oily residue.

I was left with a very smooth, soft, clean face. I never used anything like it. It's very pleasing to the senses. It smelled great, felt nice and left my face clean and soft, and hydrated! My skin did not feel stripped or dry, just a clean, smooth canvas at the end of the cleansing process. This cleanser contains Marula Oil, which is a "dry" oil, almost instantly absorbed by the skin.

It felt so good to massage it onto my face that I looked forward to my very pleasant evening experience every night. There were even some evenings when I was so tired that I decided to skip moisturizer, and found that I really could! This is worth every penny, as it is truly a luxurious and effective product.

And even better, the three-phase process allows you to pack fewer skin care products if you are crunched for space! (via Palacinka)

Juice Beauty Cleansing Gel

I was very impressed with this organic cleanser. The texture of the cleanser is a mid-weight gel and it took off every bit of oil, makeup and debris from my face. It made my skin look and feel clean afterwards. It did not feel harsh or irritating and rinsed off very well. Anyone with oilier skin looking for an effective, gentle cleanser this is the one – and the fact that it’s organic is fantastic!

This cleanser also kept my acne at bay! After using this for several weeks, I noticed a significant difference in the amount of flare ups that occurred. (via Palacinka)

Care by Stella McCartney Gentle Cleansing Milk

Description

This is a cleanser that made me really happy! It didn’t make my skin dry or tight, and I had no breakouts or irritation. I happen to really like milky cleansers, and this CARE cleansing milk was mild, and yet still really effective. I used with either a cotton pad and then rinsed, or mixed it with water, and had great results. Each and every time it left my skin soft and supple and didn’t leave any residue.

This cleanser also removed my makeup and removed my makeup perfectly without stinging my eyes. I also happen to love the CARE packaging – it’s understated, functional, and beautiful. (via Palacinka)

Garnier Nutritioniste Nutri-Pure Detoxifying Wet Cleansing Towelettes -- Oil Free

I have always been a slave to the liquid cleanser/water combination to wash my face, but I have to say that I ended up adoring these!
These were perfect for travel or just a few late nights when I had absolutely NO energy to wash my makeup off. I tend to wear the whole range of makeup on any given day – primer, tinted moisturizer or foundation, blush, eye pencil, eye shadow, mascara and bronzer. These wipes did a great job removing everything – including my eyeliner and mascara which was impressive (Note: – I did have to rub a little harder when I wore waterproof versions of eyeliner and mascara to really remove it).

What really surprised me about these cleansing wipes was how soft and smooth they left my skin after using them. They didn’t leave any gummy or sticky residue and my skin felt fresh and pleasantly oil-free. Since using my skin has remained clear and soft and the overall tone is fantastic. Also, I experienced no bumps, breakouts, or irritation from these cloths. All in all, these are a big winner in my book, and worth every penny. I am definitely going to keep a few packs of these around for travel and gym and my bathroom as well.

My only issue is a slight packaging one - the dispensing hole at the top of the pack should be a little wider so that you don’t have to dig into it so much with your fingers to pull out the wipe. (via Palacinka)

C'watre Kanreki Wash

I have obviously used many different types of products to cleanse my face, but I am absolutely floored with this product. This is by far one of the best overall facial cleansers on the market today – without question.

What makes it so different?

Well, first the consistency is lovely – a creamy, lightly textured cream with a light, fresh/marine fragrance. It’s a light blue/green, echoing the packaging. Since this is an oceanic product (I have to admit I am drawn to many “marine” type of beauty products since I so often have great results with them).

After using this wash daily for just 2 weeks I could not believe what a glow my skin had and my breakouts were non-existent. My skin was softer and yet toned in my t-zone. I couldn't be more thrilled with these products... and considering the benefits they are VERY reasonable in price. The wash is perfect for everyday use and it even removed every last trace of my makeup (and I usually wear it all from mascara to foundation to blush/eye shadow).

I cannot wait to try more from this line, which is also environmentally conscious as well! (via Palacinka)

Dermalogica Skin Purifying Wipes

This product is a great example of a product that has gone above and beyond the skin care cleansing wipes category.

I have skin that is prone to breakouts and oily, so cleansing for me is a serious proposition, since I need my cleanser to do double duty - cleanse and help prevent future breakouts. Having a quick and convenient way to do this (or an option when I can't get to my regular gel cleanser) is definitely what drew me to try these dermalogica wipes.

The wipes themselves are fairly large (almost as big as the average Kleenex) and moist, but not super drenched with liquid, so I found them much more pleasurable to use than some others in the past. I usually used them in the evening and after a gym workout. They left my skin very clean and still soft, and were effective at removing makeup as well. I could immediately feel the tingle of some of the ingredients which were antiseptic and helped to prevent the bacteria that often leads to my breakouts.

After using daily for only a week, I noticed an improvement in the main areas where I tend to breakout like my forehead and cheeks. If I was running late in the morning I also used them, added some light makeup and my skin looked great. These are a fantastic cleansing option and a must have for all you oily girls out there!

Note: These are particularly great for men after working out/sports and teenagers as well. (via Palacinka)
