Nintendo Wii

264 people recommended this item

Description

I love my Wii! I love my Wii! I'm not a huge gamer, but the Wii is pretty great. The games have an arcade feel and are highly interactive. Who says 30 somethings can't play video games.

IKEA LYCKSELE LÖVÅS | Sofa bed

2 people recommended this item

Description

We ended up choosing this as a guest bed for our spare room, as we have very little space for a full sized bed. We have had four guests now use it, and we ourselves have also slept on it to test it for comfort and have found that it meets the needs we had, to accomodate our guests in comfort while maintaining the slightly modern look of our home office environment. Along with the cover, you can also choose the type of mattress you use with it at Ikea. Love the idea of switching out the cover with a new one eventually to change the look. But for now, we will keep the one we have.

Collapsible Basket

6 people recommended this item

Description

What more could you ask for in a basket? This has been popular for a while in Europe and appears to be taking the States by storm. Eco-friendly, cute designs, easy storage. Because of the velcro straps allowing for removal, this makes the basket easy to clean when it gets dirty. Sturdier than most canvas bags, because of the support of the frame and nice cushioned handle, you can tote some of your heavier objects from the grocery store in comfort.

SIGG Sportbottle

83 people recommended this item

Description

There's no need to purchase wasteful bottled water. Plastic water bottles are often shipped across the world to end up on your store shelves. And on top of the wasted fuel to get them to you, the plastic bottles are difficult to recycle. Instead, use filtered water at home (or buy locally bottled Spring water in gallon size bottles) and reuse these stylish metal water bottles. Tip: add a sliver of cucumber to gently flavor the water. It tastes like spa water then!

Cuisinart GR-4 Griddler

8 people recommended this item

Description

Both my husband and I are in love with this sweet little Griddler from Cuisinart. It has significantly cut down on the cook time for breakfast, pancakes and bacon, or french toast, the larger surface when opened up completely lets me cook more at one time instead of having to heat up several pans on the stove. It has also been used to grill steaks, burgers, and chicken breast, along with make paninis ( our absolute favorites!) I love the ease in which it can be used and my husband enjoys the fruits of my labor with this as well as the ease of which it can be cleaned. My only regret is that I have not had this machine a lot longer ;)

KitchenAid Pro 600 Stand Mixer

10 people recommended this item

Description

Simply stated, the best you can buy from Kitchenaid, for your own personal kitchen. I have used mine making numerous amounts of cookies to send to the troops, and am about to make lots and lots of brownies to do fundraisers for the troops. I have used with the ice cream making attachment (which I got as a mail in offer for buying the mixer) and my husband said it was the best home made vanilla ice cream he had tasted. I have not had a chance to use with the other attachments yet, but I have to say this is my number one favorite small kitchen appliance. What makes this better than the basic entry level KitchenAid is instead of the tilt lift, you have have a lever lift, which raises the bowl up to the mixer.
