Description
For unknown reasons our office does not have a water cooler. We do have a kitchen with a sink. Instead of wastefully buying bottled spring water, this brita filter pitcher would do the job nicely.

Description
I'm a fairly successful houseplant grower, but i've definitely killed plants likely by overwatering (like some of my most beloved succulents). And with overwatering also comes pesky indoor gnats which I detest! After reading several positive reviews (paired with a cool Amazon promotion), I gave in and purchased this handy moisture meter.

Description
After much deliberation, I've finally chosen my new eyeglasses frame. It was a toss up between this pair and the Gucci Strauss. While I'd love to sport Gucci's, the Banana Republic pair simply looked and worked better. The more narrow lens bed works better for my very thick prescription lenses and the less boxy frame compliments my round-shaped face perfectly. The sides turn up just a smidge giving off a bit of sexy librarian meets pixie look. I'm liking it, especially in the Havana/Olive.

Description
We recently upgraded from a KuroBox to the LinkStation 1TB. It's perfect for sharing (including iTunes) and backing up files from all of our computers via our home network. It's a significant element in our home entertainment setup since it can be modded to run media center (XBox 360) compatible software, allowing us to play our media through the Xbox to the TV. It's fairly quiet and consumes little power. Also, it allows you to access your files anytime via web browser from anywhere, handy that.
The LSlive v2 is nearly identical to the KuroBox Pro but significantly cheaper since it comes with the drive. However, it isn't quite as easy to mod as the Kuro because you have to pull the drive and boot from a live cd in order to repartition it.

I purchased a sheet of these on the day they released to add them to my stamp collection (I know, totally geeky). I'm actually going to have them framed, I love them that much. They are probably the closest I'll ever come to owning an Eames piece. I wash my face twice a day, once in the morning during my shower with this cleanser and once at night before bed using Proactiv. Using Proactiv twice a day as instructed is just too harsh on my skin, but I still felt I needed something really gentle in the mornings. This cleanser is the perfect gentle cleanser without drying out your skin!

This is my all-time favorite moisturizer. It's not too oily and not too thick, blending into my skin within seconds. I use it every morning on my face and neck before applying makeup. It's also a great size for a great price (especially if you work it during Bonus Time). I've tried several other Clinique moisturizers (moisture surge and dramatically different gel), as well as Philosophy, and I keep coming back.

Every summer a group of 12-14 of us friends head to the Outer Banks, NC for a week to completely unplug, be one with the ocean, relax, be entertained, and spend quality time enjoying each other's company in an amazing house as a relatively affordable vacation. Every year each couple battles with their beach umbrella, until finally this year we broke down and bought a completely ridiculous beach DOME. Now adding a totally typical suburban accessory to our totally typical east coast middle class vacation. It's gonna be awesome.

Description
On February 8, 2008, Polaroid Corporation announced that it will discontinue production of all instant film. This sent me into a panic as I love Polaroid photography. The thought of this medium disappearing forever just struck me as impossible to my core. There's nothing else like it! I'm trying to have faith that another film manufacturer will pick up the slack and produce more film in this format. Currently, this is what I stock my camera with for that easy, portable photo that's quick, nonchalant, and nostalgic.

I'd been eyeing this cushy felted wool shag rug from West Elm for some time now and finally went ahead and bought one (ivory 5x8). I'm so excited since I believe it's one of those rugs that will compliment any room no matter what you're furniture is like. I have heard that felted shag rugs tend to shed (even the crate and barrel version), but through some interweb searching, a simple pet hair brush can cure it.
