One of my favorite Alessi designers. He perhaps created some of my favorite plastic Alessi items. Perhaps a trip to La Spezia his motherland is well deserved, Bella Italia. He has collaborated with companies like Alessi, Cedderoth, Deborah, Fiat, Flos, Hannstar, Helit, Henkel, Kokuyo, Inda, Laufen, Lavazza, Magis, Oras, Oregon Scientific, Seiko, Siemens, 3M, etc. He designed very successful commercial products such as, for Alessi, the “Girotondo"and “Mami" series, the plastic products, “Il BagnoAlessi"and the “Bombo" series for Magis. Description

Awesome, so flowery. Greg Lyn's limited edition coffee tower for Alessi. This set is designed so that the modules act as pots for hot water, coffee, tea and milk, and small containers for cream, sugar and lemon juice.

Viva President Carlo Alessi, the Alessi Designer

First to recommend

Description

Born in Granerolo in 1916. He studied design at the Istituto OMAR in Novara and in the early '30s, when still very young, he joined his father's business. Around the middle '30s he designed many Alessi objects among which "The Octagonal Tea and Coffee set", "Scalini", "The Cilindrico tea and coffee service" and "The Bombé tea and coffee service". Towards the end of the '40s he became the company's general manager. Today he is Alessi president. As you know from my many entries that Alessi's intention, from the beginning, was to be highly innovative and ready to experiment with cookware. With this in mind, the Alessi family venture explored new materials and novel design in becoming one of the finest and most well-known contemporary cookware brands. Alessi prides itself on its unique collaboration with designers and architects to produce beautiful, and quality works of art for our homes.

Alessi Housewares

Description

Michael Graves Kettle for Alessi. I love, love Alessi products. They are fun and easy to adore! Now, this kettle has been in enough movies, and TV more times than I can count on my fingers and toes. Bottom line, it doesn't mean it is great because the film and TV crew say it is. For this product, it is true, it is awesome, gorgeous and a 2007 beauty. Got to love!
