The spirit of the Faces live on in the Quireboys! I love every CD these guys have done. This is one of their most recent and one of my favorites. Great CD from start to finish. Spike and co. are in fine form here! My fav. track is the Finer Stuff, although all the tracks are great!

Tyla (frontman for the Dogs D'Amour and poet extrordinaire) and guitarist extrodinaire Dregen (from the Backyard Babies)! These two together are just amazing. They do some Tyla songs, some Dogs D'Amour songs and some Backyard Babies songs (which Tyla really makes his own). This was their drunken tour through Scandinavia and I believe Spain.

Worth it alone for my fav. Stones song of all time, Can't You Hear Me Knockin! The opening guitar is orgasmic (actually the whole song is). Mmmmmmmmm! This is part of what I like to call my holy trinity of Stones albums along with Let it Bleed and Exile on Main Street. Everyone needs to own this one!

This album is so much fun. Rocks is my favorite song. It's like a Stones circa Exile on Main Street meets Glam Rock sing along. The entire album has that type of vibe to it though. Bobby Gillespie is smokin' hot!

I am in major love with this band! Did someone say the Faces meet the Stones circa Exile on Main Street, yet add a contemporary spin?! WOAH (I say in my best Keanu voice)! I love this NYC band. Their first CD Bazooka, is awesome! Dirty Bomb is their latest CD. I usually like to write all my reviews myself here, but what they write on the CD Baby website (one of my fav. places to buy CD's from), sums these guys up the best:

"Look, we know this is just hype but it's fair to say if you like the Ramones, The Stones, Johnny Thunders' Heartbreakers, Cheap Trick, the Replacements, Slade, Chuck Berry, powerpop, punk, rock&roll, beer and sex, chances are you'll like this. Honest."

Early material from one of my fav. bands on the planet, Sweden's Diamond Dogs. If you love the Faces, etc. you will definitely love the Diamond Dogs. My fav. song on this one is the title track, Bound to Ravage. It has a mean slide guitar that I just adore!
