Wiley X Ballistic Goggles

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

You need your peepers to stay very clean and dust-free while traversing the playa in search of fun, friends, and fantasy. The best way to do this is with a pair of goggles, and these Wiley-X ones do the trick nicely. The first time a windstorm strikes, you'll be happy you have these stuck in your bag.

CamelBak Havoc Hydration Pack - 100 oz.

First to recommend

Description

Water. You'll be drinking a lot of it on the playa. You need it every day, every hour. Rather than carry around a heavy jug or thermos, why not combine your day back with your water supply? Hydration packs are one of the best things to come out of the hiking and camping gear houses in the past ten years. Check it out.

Burning Man Tickets

5 people recommended this item

Description

Seriously, this is the most important piece of Burning Man equipment. You'll be hard pressed to attend the event without a ticket. Their ticket-tier price system is a bit frustrating, but basically the longer you wait to buy, the more expensive it is to get a ticket. So pick one up now before you're almost at the Gate and realize you don't have one nestled in your pocket.

Bull Frog Surfer Formula Gel Sunblock, SPF 36

First to recommend

Description

One thing is for sure ... if you head to Burning Man, you're going to see the sun. A lot of it. Chances are even great that you'll be running around naked in it at some point. So why not protect those bits and pieces that don't see the sun that often?

Bullfrog does the trick with this sunscreen. First, it's gel, not lotion, which makes it easier to apply. Second, it's waterproof. Meaning you won't lose your protection after running nude behind the water truck, or taking a quick shower at a campsite. So, pack a couple of bottles of this, and you'll be set for sun and anything else you might encounter.
