Graeter's ice cream

First to recommend

Description

OK, I have to admit, I haven’t had Graeter’s ice cream yet because I don’t have a frost-free freezer (small rental apartment), and you have to order 6 pints. BUT, people I love and trust deeply in the ice cream arena have told me it is completely delicious. I realize recommending something I haven’t tried is strange, but I have faith here, and I’m looking for a freezer to borrow.

Open a bottle and make any event a celebration. This is a wonderful winery with great staff and award winning, reasonably priced wines. Not only is the wine great, but the bottle design is striking.

Calphalon stainless steel pans

First to recommend

Description

I’m done with non-stick pans. I’ve been scared off by the reports of what nonstick surfaces do to your health. And now that I’m using Calphalon stainless steel pans I’m thinking this non-stick business was just a good marketing job, because the stainless pans are incredibly easy to clean, don’t stick that much, and make food that tastes better. OK, I’m done with my rant.

Description

Getting a cork out of a bottle with a ScrewPull is an inexplicable joy. But sometimes getting that huge implement out to open a bottle of wine seems a little unnecessary.

Every morning I make a small pot of this tea. I have family in London who bring it home for me as I’m addicted to the mellow yet strong flavors of this tea.
