This mascara is amazing. I have been hunting for a more natural or organic based mascara for a while and this was one of the only ones on the Sephora website. I gulped and splashed out $26 CDN for it, but hey, the environment and my health are worth it, right?

This mascara is paraben, phthalate, sulfate, mineral oil, propylene glycol, fragrance and sythetic dye free. If you don't know what those things are, basically they are things that have been linked to all kinds of health problems that you don't want to have.

Plus the ingredients are naturally derived, things with names that you can pronounce, like olives and water. And the tube is made out of recycled aluminum and is super cute too.

Oh, and most importantly, it goes on beautifully! Its absolutely clump free, and very natural looking. It only comes in one colour, which is a very dark brown I believe. I can't say enough about this... for an eco-friendly product its gorgeous! Splurge! I've given you enough good excuses!

riorain is amazing! they have two stores, one in vancouver, and one in kelowna (my store) that are fabulous! riorain is all organic, recycled and/or sustainable fabrics, made in fair labour shops (vancouver and asia) and everything they make is top quality and GORGEOUS. the fabrics really feel like they are great quality, very soft and yet heavy and/or durable too. and the prices are sooooo reasonable! i can't find anywhere where you can buy the line online yet, but check out their stores if you can!

Seriously though, these are cute, and are available in organic cotton or "eco heather", an eco friendly cotton/poly mix.

Just don't wear it while you're driving, hypocrite.

I love Hollister because its relatively unknown in Canada (therefore not everywhere) and more importantly, because their shirts are LONG in a good way! You aren't always tugging things down and cursing when they come out of the laundry shrunken up above your navel.
This is a plain but classic tank, with lots of great colours.
