The Bach Coat Hooks

First to recommend

Description

It may not look fancy, but the Bach Garment Hanger is actually quite innovative in its design. The wide "hook" prevents garments - especially heavier coats and sweaters - from stretching out, as they might over a slimmer, harsher hook (a.k.a. getting "hook bulge"). The little plate at the back can be customized to help the hook blend into existing decor.

Green Revolution Hooks

First to recommend

Description

Green Revolution wall hooks are inspired by the idea of blades of grass growing through cracks in the ground. Or in this case, the wall.
It's a bit nature-meets-industrial-design.

Toq Hook

First to recommend

Description

Technically, this Toq is a bathroom hook, but the cartoonish eye is too cute to be confined to such a small space. I love that it comes in multiple colors and has a traditional screw-back, as well as a suction cup option.
Be prepared for the possibility of some jokes of the "I have my eye on you" variety if you display them in a public place, though.

Gum Hook

Description

The Gum Hook is a typical coat hook - only it is made out of colorful silicone. It holds weight, but flexes and bends so as not to damage delicate fabrics. Or anyone who might accidentally bump into one. (via Blue decor)

Dart Coat Hooks

Description

Very slick design. It's hard to argue with functional wall art.
The dart itself has a screw tip, so they're incredibly easy to position and affix to the wall. I also happen to have an under-utilized dart board that would look nice displayed near them...

Lekker - Unique Home Furnishings > HANG Wall Hooks

5 people recommended this item

Description

Brilliant concept and an attractive execution. It's nice that, though this is a set, the individual letters are not attached, allowing you to put a bit of space between them to more easily hang things.

Hanger Coat Rack

First to recommend

Description

There is a pretty clear line between hanger and wall hook, but this design fuses the two nicely. This stands out from the wall and is very sturdy, unlike a single hanger (even one simply hng on a hook), and is more clothing-friendly than a single, traditional hook, as it will not cause bulges in your fabric.
