I'm probably the most awkward dancer you'll ever meet so Martin Parr's photography collection documenting people dancing will surely make me feel better about myself. He documents everything from gay nightclubs to Jewish weddings. This is the book but the exhibition will be opening November 11, 2009 at the Rocket Gallery in London.

I hate seeing people being too affectionate in public but if it's made into "art," I'm in. This group show captures romantic and often scandalous moments in the Big Apple.

Some highlights in the exhibit are:

-Nan Goldin's drag queen standing on the street
- Alfred Eisenstaedt’s iconic image of a kissing couple in Times Square on V-J Day
- Garry Winogrand’s topless woman surrounded by a crowd in Central Park

Larry Johnson is considered one of the greatest artists of his generation. CalArts graduate and work is mainly about Los Angeles. Maintains a relatively low profile considering he is one of the most influential artists.

The exhibit is one best this summer running through Sept. 6 at the Hammer Museum.
