The Barrel Room: Barefoot Bubbly California Extra Dry Sparkling Champagne
First to recommend
Description
Although technically "Champagne" originates in the Champagne region of France, I enjoy drinking and thinking outside such geographical boundaries. For me, it is more fun . . . and almost always far less expensive. To avoid total catastrophe in my off-the-chart picks, I stick to wines that are on the dry side (11 percent alcohol content or higher). Tonight I will be popping open a bottle of this "Barefoot Bubbly," and wishing all we Earthlings a sparkling new year.
