Every time I see this book at the bookstore I pick it up and flip through it but I always put it back. Today I flipped through and decided to buy it. So glad I did.

My trainer is always telling me that the way to the perfect body is to eat clean. He is so right. This book is an easy read and has smart sound advice. Most of it I already knew, however I did find the chapter on superfoods and supplements very useful. I picked up a bunch of supplements today at Whole Foods -- I am going to recommend those next.

This is seriously the best magazine ever, it successfully got me out of my diet hell .. I mean boredom. I mean really I was so sick of eating egg whites and plain turkey -- some may not believe this but I do like taste with my food sometimes.

Clean Eating is awesome. Healthy food with taste. The magazine has handy shopping lists and great articles, which makes healthy eating a breeze. So far I have made the eggplant lasagna but I plain on making the turkey tenders which are coated in a toasted whole wheat pita "batter" and the turkey meatballs with a cherry tomato in the center.

I am so excited for the second issue to come out. I highly recommend this for those in a diet rut.

Protein is so, so important to weight loss and muscle building. Women don't eat nearly enough protein so adding a supplement is always useful. I picked up this protein powder at Whole Foods today. I chose this one because it is free of lactose and doesn't have any added sugar and crap like that. I will be using this in my morning protein shake tomorrow.

Another something that I picked up at Whole Foods today. I used CLA in the past and it's good stuff. Helps speed up metabolism and is great for cutting down belly fat. It's on sale at Whole Foods right now too, which is great because the good stuff can be pretty pricey.

Description

Every health freak I know says if you were to chose one supplement that flaxseed should be it. I picked up this bag today at Whole Foods. It's great because it's already ground (whole seeds are worthless unless you grind them yourself). This is another ingredient that is going into my protein shake tomorrow morning.

I pulled out the old blender today after it had been in hiding for months and months. The fact that my appliances go into hiding is the reason why I won't spend too much on them. This blender has held up nicely without costing me a fortune.
