Zoltar Fortune Teller

Just like in the movie Big! What a great addition to... well, to ANYTHING! But then again, for the price, you could hire a herd of real fortune tellers for your events... or just to sit in the corner of the room looking mysterious.

Still. It's awesome. (via thegreenhead)

Dismembered Flatware

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

Available in "Classic" or "Antique"....
It would be great for a Halloween party or Murder Mystery event....
You can come up with a cheap alternate version with a pair of pliers and some mismatched dinnerware.

from the site:
a truly disturbing place setting
the slash of a knife, the cut of a saw, dismemberment, burning and along with the unifying hypodermic needle puncture, this place setting truly reflects the activities of Dexter: all are victims in this highly collectible (and usable!) flatware. Each piece is hand crafted and each setting has it\'s own character - numbered and initialed.

the details:
5 piece place classic silver plated setting - engraved
knife, fork, salad/desert fork, spoon, coffee/desert spoon

there are 3 different styles:
antique - $500/place setting
classic - $450/place setting
modern - $400/place setting

Grosh Theatrical Curtains and Back Drop Rentals

First to recommend

Description

*Check ALL the themes- from Mardi Gras to Vegas to European Villages, they've got it!*

Grosh is one of the theatrical backdrop supply companies that I run to whenever I have an event. But don't just think "large scale production." Oh no. Your holiday party, office soiree or even Christmas Day celebration is an event in and of itself. So check out a site like this for the quickest, most DRAMATIC way to transform a room into an experience.

Whether you are looking for a Dickens' Village atmosphere, a winter snowscape or a grand French parlor, a backdrop in an appropriate size can be rented for a few days, a week or more. But what I run to FIRST on sites like this is the Clearance/Sale section- that's where used stage backdrops (and gorgeous draperies and panels) are actually SOLD at very reasonable prices. So consider investing in some amazing holiday decor this year.....

ps You don't need all of the fancy hanging stuff. These bad boys will stay up with just a staple gun under the molding or in the crease of your ceiling....

Amber Contact Lenses for "Twilight" Costumes

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

An inexpensive way to add some authentic bite to your "Twilight" or "New Moon"-inspired costume this Halloween. Select "Amber" for that just-been-fed Cullen look or browse the site for reds if you're going all Volutri on us.

If you're not into costuming yourself from head-to-toe, these are a simple, easy way to show you tried without, well, trying- just pair them with jeans and a tshirt. Voila. Insta-vamp.

They'd make great props at a "Dexter" Halloween party- Angel on the bar, Doakes by the fire, Rita in the kitchen...
