The Art of Carving a Pumpkin - a list by LaurenMessiah

Options for This Page

About this list:

Carving pumpkins is cool -- if you have the right tools. Nothing is scarier than reaching your hand in a giant pumpkin filled with gook and pouring your blood, sweat and tears into it with lackluster results. Hopefully this list will have you heading into the right direction.

Qualifications:

Pumpkin master and seed eater.

Pittsburgh Steelers - Pumpkin Carving Pattern Kit

2 people recommended this item

Description

Carving a regular old pumpkin face (you know the face, triangle eyes and nose ... jagged mouth) can be so boring. Sometimes you need to step it up and getting a little help from a stencil isn't a bad idea.

Sports fans will flip out over this Pittsburgh Steeler's pumpkin carving kit ... iI know I am flipping out a little.

Having a cookie sheet or 2 is key when carving pumpkins so you can roast the seeds. I just rinse em off and dust some salt on them ... roast for say 20minutes and go to town.

I bought this cheesy little pumpkin carving kit at CVS last week. I have to say, the stencils are what sold me and the $5 price tag. I will be carving this weekend ... I will let you know how it goes.
