Description

One of the hardest things about divorce is breaking up a family. So there is never too much you can do to remind your kids that they are loved. Here is a fantastic set of note packets in various themes to do just that.

"Each miniature "pop-open" card conceals a "secret message" of love, encouragement and self-esteem hidden inside. Tuck these colorful envelopes into pockets, overnight bags and lunch pails. When you child opens them they reveal little pearls of wisdom and support such as...

"I hope you know that I believe in you, and I will be there whenever you need me".

"A hug is a perfect gift. One size fits all".

"You make the world more wonderful, just by being in it!".

From the site:
The award-winning, Lunch Mail™ pocket cards enable you to send your children off to school with a piece of your love tucked inside their lunch, backpack or pocket. What a great feeling to discover an inspiring little greeting card from you!

Oh WOW what a great idea! Great price too.... I take my kiddos back to Ireland every year and let me tell ya, these are going to make the airport trekking SO much more fun.

UPDATE: May 12th
Ok. Let me just say this- if you have kids and travel, GET these! I just got back from a week at Disneyland and successfully hauled three derrieres- ages 10, 7 and 2- through two airports on 'em. They're remarkably stable I had all the leashes in one hand. You just need to walk fairly straight. But when the "moooommmmm, I'm tiiiiiired" started, these saved the day. I also loved that they could park their butts on them as temporary seating while we were in line without squashing the contents. Very durable, very smart. I had several people actually stop me to ask me where I got them when they saw them in action. A final note- my 10-year-old is fairly tall but still was able to ride it with no problem- just bent her legs back at the knees.

I laughed out loud at this then got a flashback involving ice and mastitis and stopped smiling. Yeah I know. Too much information.

Still, the t-shirt is great. Don't hate on the product, hate on the reviewer...

Ok, if you're just looking for cute jewelry for your girlfriend, now is the time to look away. This site is for people who have another human being getting ready to latch on to them or need to buy a great baby gift for someone who fits that category.

ie this is Breastfeeding Bling.

After three kids, this is one hobby that I've put up on the shelf. But BOY do I wish they had these when I was still a player. They are probably one of the smartest baby items I have ever come across and a DEFINITE shower gift for all my expecting friends.

The bracelet slips on mom's wrist. Just flip it over to the words "Right" or "Left" depending on what side you just nursed on. It even has sliders to note how long Junior chows. Say bye bye to any logs or notes....

Terrific.

"Cute.... til you plug it in."

My nine-year-old is a budding rock star in her own little universe. Where she got it from, I couldn't tell you. Neither her father nor I can carry a note. But she got up on a big stage at Camp Jam this summer and belted out Smells Like Teen Spirit with a great deal more angst and expression than I could have imagined. And now wants to add "guitarist" to her CV.

Hence the path that led me to this site. Great guitars.
