Venzero SLICKR

First to recommend

Description

We're going to end up with a whole generation of people who don't know how to use the letter E. Following Moto's naming convention, Venzero is releasing the SLICKR: a portable multimedia device that rocks

- a 2.8" display
- fm radio
- 2GB storage
- miniSD reader (up to 2GB)
- built in speaker

Includes software like musicmarker, which allows you to record songs you hear in public and when you sync the device, it will go online and let you know what the song you recorded is.

Not a bad device, although the memory is a bit paltry. (via Engadget)

Description

I just don't really get this. From the site:

"This health conscious phone enables users to track their health through nutrition and fitness. Other users of this phone with similar goals (lose weight or run a 5k) networks together to motivate, and hold the others accountable for their workout sessions. The phone is equipped with eNose technology in order to "smell" and recognize foods eaten by their unique chemical signature. It tracks intake wherever you go, and will periodically analyze info to let you know what food groups you are missing."

Super Mini Sound Box

First to recommend

Description

Is that an ipod in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? This scrappy little speaker is supposed to generate some pretty big sound and bass for something half the size of an ipod. It runs on a lithium battery and is powered via USB.

Obviously, this will work with any portable audio device, but we all need to jump on the ipod accessory gravy train. (via Gizmodo)

Mini Castle Ear Alarm

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

It's an alarm that fits in your ear. And by the looks of it, not very comfortably. While the concept is good (an alarm in your ear so that your roommate doesn't wake up), the design suggests that this sucker isn't going to be in your ear all night. (via Gizmodo)

Free yourself from all of your remotes! If you're like me, you have about 15 different devices in your entertainment center. This also means you have 15 different remotes. At some point, you'll end up going remote crazy. I bought the logitech 880 remote and my life has never been easier. With the push of one button, I can turn on my tv, amp, and cable box. The macros on this remote are awesome and really will make your entertainment center a lot easier to manage.
