It will never really go away, that rebellious side. A genre that evolved in the USA and later in London in the mid-70s, when a number of outrageous and eccentric musicians played in a deliberately raw, amateurish style and espoused nihilistic political sentiments; it later changed into a brutal, monochromatic ‘hardcore’ style, played fast and at high volume.
