The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes
First to recommend
Description
This classic easter tale was one of my own childhood favorites and the story of the little girl rabbit who succeeds in becoming the easter bunny despite a chorus of "no-you-can'ts" offers a lesson I can't wait to share with my own daughter.

Old fashioned sugar easter egg

Description
I was captivated by these as a child. There's just something so magical about the little world they contain. I spent a fruitless few hours last year trying to track them down locally so I could share the enchantment with my own child-- if only I'd shopped online!

Blas-fix easter egg blowing kit
First to recommend
Description
My grandmother taught me many things in her kitchen, including how to blow out eggs to decorate for easter. It's a wonderful memory, despite the fact that a good portion of it is colored by the ache that soon developed as I blew myself cross-eyed trying to get all the yolk out of that tiny hole. Add to that modern concerns about salmonella and I can safely say that I'll be using this egg blowing kit with my own family this Easter.

See's Candies Easter Gifts: Scotchmallow Eggs
First to recommend
Description
When I saw that these candy eggs got the highest possible rating (10 out of 10) on Candy Blog I had to try them. That's because I can't see a box of See's without thinking of my Californian grandparents who often sent them to our family on holidays. The horrible secret was that I never really liked the taste of their assortments. I can pass on the family tradition in good cheer now-- these are scrumptious!

Description
First published in 1916, Uncle Wiggly has been enjoyed by generations of children. Players race to the finish while avoiding bad guys like Skallery Alligator and Woozy Wolf. You can find some of the original Uncle Wiggily books to share at Project Gutenberg- here's a link to "Uncle Wiggily's Adventure" : http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/15281

Easter Parade (Two-Disc Special Edition)
2 people recommended this item
Description
I'll be dragging out all the dress-up clothes (bonnets!) and clearing some space in front of the couch for some impromptu toe tapping this Easter as we settle down to watch "Easter Parade." My 6-year-old daughter is in love with musicals- this one is a great classic and I won't mind a bit when it goes on replay.

PAAS Easter Egg Dye, Easter Egg Decorating Supplies
First to recommend
Description
I was a PAAS kid-- except for a couple of years when Dudley's toothy rabbit lured me away. But it's the Paas logo that looks like Easter to me.
