Jason Miller Seconds Dinner Plates

Description
What is art? How many times have I debated that question? Too many to count. When I discovered Jason Miller's Seconds Series Dinnerware, I immediately thought, that's art! He intentionally applies his design decals "incorrectly" which of course turns out to be the absolute correct way for these fabulous plates. They are just "off" enough, to give them that edge that becomes art in my book. Love them!

Walk/Don't Walk Chair
5 people recommended this item
Description
Artist John Carter designed it as a chair but to me his creation speaks art, social commentary and interior design. Made from Walk/Don't Walk signs from New York City, the chair actually works with a remote control to turn it on and off. It can be ordered with all the scuffs and stains from NYC or squeeky clean and freshly painted. And it's recycled! It can be yours for $3700.

Metzner Coasters
First to recommend
Description
I have to admit that I like coasters! Different coasters. Unique coasters. Not your everyday coasters. These coasters fit that discription for me. And because I like them, I would also be thrilled if I got them for Mother's Day! Jeffery Metzner collaborated with the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) and rendered the works of several artists like Matisse, Warhol, Chagall into his own stick figure designs.
