Loomis Art Store

First to recommend

Description

If you are addicted to paper, ultra-chic office supplies, drawing supplies, notebooks (Moleskines, etc.), art and writing portfolios, and pretty much anything else to do with art/writing, this store will overload your senses and your imagination. The first time I visited a Loomis Store (the big outlet store in Mississauga) I spent two hours (and more money than I'm prepared to admit) loading up on one-of-a-kind items that I had to have. (Yes, it's an addiction, but I don't know where to get help for my paper and office supply problem.) The store carries stuff for kids and adults (my eight year old is as addicted as I am, so we go off to get our "fix" together a couple of times a year. In betweeen in-person shopping trips, I order online. I'm a pretty hardcore case.

Description

As much as I have tried to eliminate paper from my work space and even bag when out gadding around, I have found the small notebook is a must have for either notes on a particular restaurant or sketching something out for future reference. (via David)

We're a family of book freaks, always several noses in pages each night. So I love the fact these are clever, cheap ($6) and come as a set of 20.
