I recently discovered Cire Trudon candles - possibly the oldest and best candles Paris has to offer. The history behind each scent is intriguing, the smells take you back to gay-Paris. The glass is the color of vintage absinthe and the candle is biodegradable and allergen free. Marie Antoinette adored the Trianon candles - jacinth, roses, white flowers, and wild herbs fill the air with fresh garden scents. Fit for a queen and splendid for non-royalty, too.

I love decorating with flowers, but I am well aware that my style skews more feminine. If I were to create a real home for my family one day, I would strive to incorporate my tastes into a more unisex look.
