All Gone 2007

First to recommend

Description

The self-proclaimed "Bible of Streetwear," All Gone is a stylized tribute to limited-edition streetwear and art appearing throughout 2007. Covering the likes of Huf, Staple, Married to the MOB, Bape, Skullphone, Ed Banger, and Run Athletics, as well as artwork from KAWS, Geoff McFetridge, and others, the selection is diverse. Pulled together by La MJC, co-produced with Colette, and limited to 1000 pieces, you know it's pedigreed.

Nooka Zirc Mirror

Description

Nooka has been walking a fine line between sophisticated, minimal lines and slightly overbearing dimensions for a few years now. The mixture is engaging and makes for a kind of conspicuous understatement that lets you have it all. This Zirc Mirror ups the ante a little with a more delicate band then we've seen before, coupled with an even wider body. The off-center placement is another really cool, idiosyncratic feature (which may or may not have been inspired by Paul Frank watch designs from six or seven years ago).

Rabbit Sneaker, by Paul Smith

First to recommend

Description

Not the greatest Paul Smith sneaker I've ever seen (and not not a Stan Smith variation), but still as stylish and grown-up a sneaker as you'll find this year.

Black Cable Knit Cardigan, by You Must Create

First to recommend

Description

Cable knit is under-rated, but still a pretty bold element to play with. This piece wins irony points by matching it with stark black.

Firemans Pea Coat, by Barking Irons

Description

Barking Irons gets better by the season. Like a lot of small brands, easing into subtlety may have initially felt like a compromise, but it can pay off well.
