The State - Season 1: Movies & TV
First to recommend
Description
The state was a situational comedy show on MTV in the mid 90s. However, most of us would know the crew as the people that went on to do Reno 911 and Wet Hot American Summer. This show will always be a classic in my book.

Nirvana - MTV Unplugged in New York

Description
It was the last Nirvana collection recorded before Kurt Cobains death. Many might even call it the most classic of them all. It was Nirvana. But, it was toned down and acoustic, but still raw and real Nirvana. It was MTV Unplugged, something awesome that they use to do, but still should do.

Description
I remember that semester in Middle School where I got straight As and my reward was Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness - in a 2 cassette package. I still didn't have a CD player yet, but I listened to this album and rewound it and played it again and again.

Description
Who was dumber: Beavis or Butt-head? I could never figure it out. But I sure enjoyed watching this show, because:
1) It didn't pretend to be smart. It had no hidden meanings, period.
2) They used to show cool videos with chicks and explosions.
3) This show gets funnier as you get more drunk.
4) Cornholio.

Even though Tom Green didn't actually come to MTV until the end of the 90s, he still represented the old MTV. Is off base shenanigans are desperately trying to be recreated, but no one does it justice.

MTV animation and cartoons all started with this, the animation show adopted from BBC. This is the very best of the show that awed us in the early 90s.

Remember when Dr. Drew and Adam Carolla would go on T.V and answer questions about love and sex and relationships. It was ridiculous, but I loved it. This is there paperback guide to sex and relationships.
