Urban Rituelle Lip Balm
First to recommend
Description
This hard-to-find lip balm from Australia is great not only because it does a fabulous job moisturizing your lips, but also because it's tastes just as good as it smells. (Most scented lip balms merely smell good, but have nothing to offer your taste buds. Not so with this little guy!) It comes in 6 flavors that are all good, but trust me...Peach is THE BEST!

Smith's Rosebud Salve

Description
Okay, I'll admit it. I'm a lip balm ADDICT! However, even though you can find multiple brands floating around my house / purse at one time, I'm never to be found without at least one tin of Smith's Rosebud Salve on me at ALL times. It has been my #1 favorite for the last 8 years. There's one in my bathroom, one in my purse, and one more in the closet (as backstock) in case I run low.
The reason for my fanatical love of the salve is because it's good for everything. Dry lips, cracked knuckles, chapped skin anywhere, eczema....you name it. I've even used it as a stand-in for an antibacterial cream on more than one occasion when I had nothing else. At only $6, this portable little balm is something I recommend in multiples.

Clarins UV Plus SPF 40

Description
I'm extra (EXTRA!) pale, and I tend to burn really easily when I get out in the sun. This product has been great to help keep me 100% protected at all times. It's also completely sheer and hasn't clogged my pores once. I've also managed to keep the same bottle for a really long time. A little bit truly does go a long way with this one.

Clarins Bright Plus HP On-the-Spot Brightening Corrector: Skin Lighteners
First to recommend
Description
This was recommended to me by my aesthetician to use b/c of dark spots I'd gotten above my upper lip due to sun exposure. (No, it wasn't due to dark moustache hair. I swear!) After 3 months of constant use, the spots have almost completely disappeared. Couple that with Clarins SPF 40 Protective Day screen, and I won't be getting sun spots again any time soon hopefully!!

Saipua Mango Butter Soap

Description
These sweet little soaps from Saipua have adorable wee chicks on the packaging that just makes me swoon. (They should be featured on cuteoverload.com.) Plus the ditzy flower print completes the picture. And that's just the packaging. They smell just as lovely too.

Boots No7 Time-Resisting Day and Night Eye Care
First to recommend
Description
I used to live in London and got spoiled by Boots brand cosmetics and skincare that is sold at Boots stores across the UK. In fact, I loved it so much that everytime I would go back to visit, I insisted that I be taken to the nearest Boots to pillage for product. Therefore, HOW happy was I when I discovered that clearly the people at Target felt the same way!!! Now Boots brand cosmetics and skincare are being offered at Target stores and online!! Wheeee.
Anyways....all that to say that I bought this eye cream, and love it. I especially love the night version. It leaves your skin very silky the next morning. As an added bonus, you get a lot for your money. Mine has lasted for ages!

Body & Soul Cream Lipstick
First to recommend
Description
This is one of those random samples that landed on my desk. I'm not sure how it got there, but MAN(!) was I glad that it did. The color was called "Divine" and this lipstick by Body and Soul turned out to be just that....Divine! It's creaminess moistens your lips almost like a balm, but it goes on thick and smooth like butter. I'm shocked that more people haven't discovered this little cosmetics company. Definitely one worth buying....and savoring.

Boots No7 Maximum Volume Mascara
First to recommend
Description
This is one of those recommendations that's been hanging out in my to-do pile for awhile. I've already opined about my sincere love for Boots brand cosmetics (and how thrilled I am that Target has brought them to America from across the pond), but anyways....I digress. I'm here to talk about my new favorite mascara.
What can I say?! It does all those things that you want a wonderful mascara to do. Makes my puny thin lashes look thick, long and beautiful. It doesn't clump or start flaking all over my face after a long night out at the bar. And as a bonus....it comes off easily (with eye makeup remover) and I don't feel like I've got raccoon eyes. Major points for this little guy.

Tracy Reese Boutique Makeup Case
First to recommend
Description
Tracy Reese has such beautiful prints and choose such a wonderful color palette. It's great to see her line expanded outside of just clothing. Her new line of cosmetic bags that she's launched with Anthroopologie are really beautifully colored. I love the pink & turquoise combination. Definitely something I wouldn't mind the customs agents pulling out at the airport.
