when i was a little girl my mom always let me get a new purse to match my easter dress...and gloves, of course. i think this would be an adorable little easter purse. not a lovely little white wicker one like the days of old but funky and fresh and just right for today.

this was just featured in the new york times article on sprucing up your home on a recessionary budget. i just can't resist it. here's what CB2 has to say: Nonprofit organization Conserve recycles plastic Indian milk pouches into conversational table toppers with a mission. i love this. i know there are cheaper version out there or, at least, similar to this. i like the idea of a collection of single disparate flowers brought together by this caterpillar-like form. plus, they look like test tubes and i love test tubes and beakers. it's the science geek thing.
