Description

This task light by Roland Schneider is modern and functional. I don't know about you, but fluorescent ceiling lighting is just too bug-lamp for me. I'd be much happier with a couple low voltage desk lamps.

I absolutely adore the white KARDEMUMMA plant pots from IKEA! Especially the "stem" design, as it reminds me of Orla Kiely, whom I love. I've bought these pots in pretty much all sizes and they are absolutely perfect. The only way they could be better (which is a problem with most IKEA planters) if they had a drainage hole at the bottom with tray. So you must be sure to buy planting stones to help with drainage.

These could also be used as an umbrella receptacle.

Description

I must be surrounded by plants. Something living and creating real fresh air really makes the room. Especially when you're sitting in an enclosed office. Luckily mine is a corner with windows across 2 walls. High light plants galore!

This hand silkscreened reproductions of the vintage WWII era poster "Keep Calm & Carry On" is available in a variety of fun colors, the latest being this super sunny yellow. I love the slogan and the simple sans serif font over a vibrant color. I actually purchased two myself, one to inspire me at home and at work!
