About this list:

The office - the place you spend more waking hours at than your home. So why not make it a fun and inspiring place to be! We've all seen Google's amazing offices and felt the burn of envy at their sliding boards, free sushi, pets allowed -- but maybe they are onto something.

Brita Deluxe Pitcher

10 people recommended this item

Description

The water here in Kansas City, MO is HARD. My coffee, drinking water and tea just tastes better filtered. The Brita pitcher offers a convenient and affordable way to do that. Drinking water to maintain optimal health is very important, but when you are ill it becomes especially important. *The Institute of Medicine advises that men consume roughly 3 liters (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day and women consume 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day. If you drink enough fluid so that you rarely feel thirsty and produce 1.5 liters (6.3 cups) or more of colorless or slightly yellow urine a day, your fluid intake is probably adequate. Signs of illnesses, such as fever, vomiting and diarrhea, cause your body to lose additional fluids. In these cases you should drink more water and may even need oral rehydration solutions, such as Gatorade, Powerade or CeraLyte.

iLift - flexible arm for Apple Cinema Display and iMac G5

First to recommend

Description

A coworker of mine has one of these and I am strongly considering one after his comments. "the iLift is a great addition to the workplace. It's dynamic. It enables me to move around and reposition myself during the long day of sitting in the same chair and doing the same repetitious motions." It also enables you to have more desk space and reposition the monitor when it needs to be viewed by more than one person.
