Description
I love cameos, I remember when I was little digging through my stepmother's jewelry box and skipping over everything to look at her cameos. She had this one that I was in love with. To this day I still love cameos. I think you really can mix them into any outfit. I find this medusa cameo slightly cheeky. Medusa was a strong woman and is sometimes portrayed as a monstrous woman, but in this cameo, she is beautiful. It's a cameo with a decidedly fun twist on the wholesome flowers and religious scenes normally seen.

Description
Some cameos are expensive, some are not. All are pretty. This cameo isn't on that belongs in a museum, but it's almost better that way. With nicer cameos I save them for the right time, the perfect moment. With my cheaper cameos, I just have fun and throw them on a ribbon to make a choker, or pin on my purse to add that little bit extra. With a black background, white floral centerpiece and silver edge. This cameo would certainly get lots of use.

Description
Usually you seem cameos as a necklace, pendant or occasionally earrings. But a bracelet of cameos is a another wonderful way to bring cameos into another piece of jewelry. It's the classic cameo style with the rosy background and clean cream figures.

I'm in total love with these drop like earrings that make the cameo ready to be worn anywhere. The girl looks so happy in the earring and when you are wearing something smiling you can't help but smile a little bit too.

I'm a pretty traditional cameo girl when it comes down to. Normally I like the pink or the black. But this blue agate one has a sort of grace to it that is all too fitting for a cameo that portrays the three graces.

One of the things I love the most about this cameo is the fact that it doesn't have the trim. It's just shell and flowers. It's more casual this way, more fun this way. I think this totally compliments the earthy nature of the floral subject of the pendant that can also be used as a pin.

Description
One of the things I love about this cameo is that unlike many cameo subject which show women swathed in layers of clothing with hair in a prim updo, this subject shows a woman enjoying her youth . Handmade in Italy, the quality just shines through on this hand carved cameo.

I like this cameo not so much for the carving on the front, though I like the swan on a lake scene. Rather I like this cameo for the variable color in the background. It makes it look like a sunset which when paired with a simple lake makes a pretty tableau.

Most of the cameos out there (and especially the ones I like) are pretty standard. All cameos except this one! It's Miss Piggy on a cameo. It's very nifty and clever and cute. After all who doesn't love the muppets!

I'm starting to feel naked if I don't have some item of jewelry on. I have my work jewelry all set (though a girl could always use more!) but it's casual jewelry that throws me for a loop. I own far more casual jewelry than I do nice jewelry, but it's never enough. I think this necklace needs to be the next addition to my casual jewelry wardrobe. It's long (36") and has a cameo, a bow, a hear and a key. It's a fun mix of elements. And I can see it becoming my new favorite causal piece.

I'm in total love! It's a casual cameo in a fun drop earring setting. I like the bright neon pink cameos, but the blue and orange are pretty nice too. Its a nice youthful casual interpretation.
