Description
These cutlery/puppets are a cool design idea. I love things that can be used for purposes other than they were originally designed to be used for. Just one caution: These would drive your average toddler or preschooler around the bend. (Can you imagine the frustration when the cutlery wouldn't do what the child wanted?) So buy them for a big kid or yourself or just drool over them online.... (via Cocoa Crayon)

D*I*Y Planner | Paper, productivity & passion
First to recommend
Description
Imagine being able to produce a sophisticated and customized paper-based personal organizer -- for FREE. That's what D*I*Y Planner is all about. You choose modules that suit your life, print out the size and version you want, and -- voila! -- you've got a planner that can rival the best planners in the business without spending a dime.
If you want the latest and greatest and coolest go for the Hipster, a smaller format planner that's designed to print out on 3" x 5" index cards.
The D*I*Y Planner community is also worth checking out -- a place to talk about time management, personal productivity, and David Allen's bestselling book Getting Things Done. (via http://www.43folders.com)

Remember The Milk

Description
I'm an author and a mom of four. Before I found Remember the Milk (a free online organizer that allows you to have as many to do lists as you want), my to do list system consisted of a million post-it-notes and notes on napkins stuffed in my purse, stuck to my laptop, and missing in action in my life.
Now I can email tasks to myself as I think of them and they land in one place -- in Remember the Milk. I can even email tasks on to my husband (let me tell you he lives for those emails from me) or to my office assistant (ditto).
This is the coolest online organizer ever, and it can quickly be configured to work with David Allen's Getting Things Done system if, like me, you're a GTD devote.
I've written about Remember the Milk (http://www.rmilk.com for short) in magazine columns and on blogs galore and I'm not done spreading the word yet.

The Mother of All Books Series
First to recommend
Description
These books are more than just books to me. They kind of feel like my "babies" because giving birth to each of these babies is truly a labor of love -- with equal emphasis on "labor" and "love." (I just about drive myself and my family crazy during each "book pregnancy.") There are American and Canadian editions of these books -- this series page @ Amazon.com only lists the US editions, but a quick search at Amazon.ca will pull up the Canadian editions instead.
And this page doesn't list the two new books in the spin-off "The Mother of All Solutions" series: Sleep Solutions for Your Baby, Toddler, and Preschooler and Mealtime Solutions for Your Baby, Toddler, and Preschooler -- I guess because they're in a separate series.
The books wouldn't be here at all if it weren't for the hundreds of parents who served on the research panels for the books over the years, providing input on what moms (and dads) really want to know about pregnancy, babies, toddlers, and parenting. I owe them a huge debt of gratitude.

The self-proclaimed Mr. McGroovy over at Squidoo tells you everything you need to know to create the best-ever cardboard castle with your kids. (via The Mother of All Lenses)
