Description
How might a twig provide the comfort of a shade tree? Perhaps if it were photographically enlarged enough to sprawl across a king-size duvet cover. This ploy, used by Amenity Home Collection, works with dandelions and wild roses too. (via Elements of Living)

Description
Partly, smartly filled in by the designer (who always stays between the lines), Jenny Wilkinson’s Wallpaper-by-Numbers comes with or without accompanying sets of acrylic paints. In addition to pineapples and gerbera daisies, Wilkinson’s designs include a repeating water ballet of four hammerhead sharks; a dog, Tilly, in a planter, and Venus Flutterby, a visual cautionary tale. Description
The bold geometry of this wood-and-mirror screen was adapted from a small pattern on a centuries-old kimono. The wide, ebonized koto wood retains the texture of the wood grain; mirror insets are anti-qued for a moderating influence. The reverse side is finished but plain wood upon wood, and the hardware is bright nickel. (via Elements of Living)

Laid out on this sumptuous field and printed in gray, garden-variety leaves have the detailed authority of an X-ray and scribbles leap from the page. Available in seven new colorways, including monochromatic matte/gloss combinations. (via Elements of Living)

Description
An arresting combination of sense and nonsense that would sit well at conferences and weddings alike, the Louis straight-back chair from the Italian company Aitali features an image of a Louis XVI period chair printed on Altuglass, a transparent plastic purer than plexiglass. Thanks to state-of-the-art technologies, a computer generated graphic of the exploded parts of a silk damask side chair have been inkjet-printed on the backside and undersides of the chair. Reverse printing, along with UV-safe inks, also protects the image from scratches and sun damage.
Other models range widely in imagery, including a slatted lawn chairs (the acrylic version is not collapsible), bar codes, a child’s drawings and even fur. Custom designs are available. The company recently re-interpreted Salvador Dali’s Hallucinogenic Toreador in a 300-piece limited edition for the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. (via Elements of Living)
