4 Story Residential Space Saver
First to recommend
Description
This is a new cool module design for residences in Belgium. It maximizes space while minimizing space at the same time. Put it this way, it's only 7'10" wide, but stacks the four integral rooms necessary for living: Entrance, Dining, Living, Sleeping and a rooftop bathtub. Love the different colored lighting for each floor. If NYC used these residences, there'd be so much more living space and equalitarian rent. Wishful thinking.

Multi-Functional Spinning Wheel Rooms
First to recommend
Description
Wow! Talk about form and function. Keep turning this baby around and you get an array of rooms. Each module's interior would be outfitted for a specific room or function, such as a kitchen, bedroom, or exercise room. The wheel literally turns, and as the positioning of the module changes, so does its function. For instance, while cooking, the couch becomes the ceiling, the dining table a wall. The Wet Cell is the module that would house the bathroom, including the toilet, shower, and bath. This is way better than a human hamster wheel!!

Mobile Kitchen

Description
I'm really getting into these "mobile" rooms, apartments, objects, etc. "Simplicity" is the word that comes to mind. When closed the cabinets look like ordinary cabinets, but when opened - TA DA - complete kitchen. The kitchen design workshop layout is comprised of three main elements: a "workbench" housing the sink and cooker, "tool cabinet" for utensils, crockery and food, and "appliance cabinet" for the oven, dishwasher and fridge. Moving is going to be a lot easier in the future!

Freestanding Kitchen

Description
This is cool. It's a kitchen that's both freestanding and portable. It can be placed anywhere - on a roof, on a deck, on the street (check the other pix) . Hey, now even the homeless can prepare their own food.

I love this. Press a button and the staircase lifts to reveal another room. Open a bookcase to reveal the same. This company specializes in all things hidden - bookcases, paintings, shelving. You never know what could be behind someone's book collection. I'm thinkin' - the Batmobile.
