Martha Stewart Collection Wooden French Rolling Pin

First to recommend

Description

I've used many different types of rolling pins and I have to say that this simple, solid, tapered wooden pin is my preference. It is easy to clean and store, to control and apply even pressure. it's not too heavy like marble pins or clunky like ones that spin around a dowel. The price is right too!

Trader Joe's

Description

Since I live about 4 hours from a Trader Joe's, I haven't been able to take advantage of it's full capacity. But from what items I have purchased on my limited visits as well as the acclaim it has been given by my closest friends, I can appreciate what this store represents and offers to its customers. Great portions and selection, fresh foods, healthy alternatives, diversity, yum! I only wish one would open in sunny State College, PA!

INDIA TREE French Dragees

First to recommend

Description

INDIA TREE French Dragees are imported from France and are of the highest quality. Add an elegant touch to your baking - use them to decorate cakes and cookies.

Although the silver dragees are surrounded in controversy and conspiracy, I absolutely had to have them for my holiday cookie decorating. It is nearly impossible to find since it seems to be outlawed in California and big box stores in the rest of the US won't sell them. The US FDA requires manufacturers to put "for decorating purposes only. not edible." on the packaging, but everywhere else in the world it is considered candy. You can buy them online though (except for CA), even at Amazon.com.
