One of my friends got me a candle in White Peach for my 21st bday - I have never been able to find the brand of the candle (it was amazing) until last week at Pure Beauty I saw the unique designed jars/sizing of the candles they carried - i wanted to get one but considering how much i spent on beauty products i decided to wait a bit before spending 22 more dollars on another thing i didn't really need... but so delicious! and love the moorish pattern! Ah, the warm smell of vanilla and sugary caramel. Sure, it is so "12 year old girl" to smell like cotton candy but I cannot deny how delicious this is. This scent is proven (worn occasionally by myself) to earn you quite a few extra hugs from the fellas and get a few compliments :)

Korres Natural Products Pomegranate Balancing Moisturizer

I got a sample of this from the Korres boutique at Fred Segal in Santa Monica and totally fell in love! Its a gel-like moisturizer, doesn't make you greasy, and didn't make me break out! I have super oily skin, so that is very rare! I also love the smell - but it is kind of strong, so you should sniff it before you buy. They have baby sample sizes at any Korres counter (and probably at Sephora too) so test it! It also has SPF 6, which I like, but my forehead doesn't (age spots! I'm only 26!) - but I love all Korres products, its all natural, and got the green stamp from Sephora! (via Sephora)

I know, I know - seems ridiculous to pay 90 for a little tube of cream. BUT IT DOES REALLY WORK. however, it does dry you out and you have to use it 2X a day and remember to use it - i've been forgetting lately and it shows. Probably a better fix would be to sleep 8 hours every night, give up booze, and chug water - but if you can't do all that (who can?) - this is def worth a try! however, if you already have dry skin - it may be too drying for you... Living in sunny Florida, I must apply SPF so I don't look like 50 when I'm 30. I've tried almost everything and the daily SPF moisturizers were either too thick, not thick enough, didn't moisturize enough, made my face greasy, irritated my face - you name it, I've been through it!

HOWEVER, this stuff is great. I have sensitive skin, but this fragrance free lotion is great! Try it out!

One of the things on my bday wishlist i haven't gotten to is unearthen - i want one soooo badly! i saw it first on refinery 29 - but it was also on cool hunting - and now they are at barneys. they also have a website which discusses the different properties of the metals and the stones (what they supposedly help you with) - but i have to say, its less about the warding-off-stomach-problems properties and more about the they-are-so-fing-cool-looking aesthetics. at least for me.
