Senpuku Kura - "Wine Cellar of 1000 Fortunes" - Junmai Daiginjo

Description

Not only is this a very good sake - this is one of my favorite sake bottles. Eminently suitable for serving in your white, minimalist dining room.

MASUMI OKUDEN KANTSUKURI "MIRROR OF TRUTH"

First to recommend

Description

This is a great sake for those who are used to wine tasting as it tastes...a little like wine. It has a complicated, slightly rustic taste and a beautiful finish, not common with a resaonably priced sake.

Mukune "Root of Innocence" Junmai Ginjo Sake 720ml

First to recommend

Description

This sake has quite a bit of body and character. It's not very acidic. The expert at K&L says "pair with salty foods" but I haven't tried that yet....

Can you resist something called "1000 Ostentatiousness"? I thought not. This is of course an excellent sake.

Riedel 'O' Sake Stemless Glasses (Set of 2)

First to recommend

Description

The reason for smaller sake glasses is social - it aids in the flow of social discourse as one is constantly filling one's companion's glass. I actually prefer this, and if you have an ice carafe, go this way. However- if you must guzzle your sake- this Riedel set is good-looking and does the trick.

doe - san francisco - ceramic sake set

First to recommend

Description

This is a nice, clean-lined, minimal, simple set. My only issue with it is that it would be better for heated sake as there is no ice set-up to keep the sake chilled. However if the sake's cold and you're drinking it fairly quickly, this'll work.

Description

This is really beautiful and, again, if your sake is pre-chilled it's a really nice serving touch.

Cold Sake Carafe from Hakusan

First to recommend

Description

Finally! A cold sake carafe with an ice pocket that's simple and minimalist, not garish. 19.4 ounces of sake is plenty to be going on with. I need this, actually.

Cedarwood Sake Masu Cup - S1019

First to recommend

Description

A favorite way of drinking sake is from a small wooden cup called the masu. A masu holds 0.18 liter of sake. Drinking from a masu is simple. Just choose a corner and sip, holding one side with your right hand, thumb on the top and the other fingers on the bottom, and supporting the other side lightly with your left hand. Sake in masu is never warmed!

Whoa! Lingerie!

Updated Jan 22, 2008

Lingerie can be the same old, same old lace & ribbon. Or it can be original and gorgeous, and that is what I am going for here.
