This bag brings to mind Brad Pitt in that movie, A River Runs Through It. OK, he probably had no need for a briefcase, but he did FISH, I believe. So close enough! I can still see him walking through the tall grass on a beautiful day in the mountains, with this bag slung over his shoulder.

One of my dads drinks wine, so this seems like it could be a good gift for him. He's remarried (how do you think I GOT three fathers?), and I know that his wife (my stepmom) likes wine too. And because it's a wine of the month, it's the gift that keeps on giving... in a good way!

One of my dads likes a cigar now and then. I think he's like this humidor the best. It's low key but big and roomy, for lots of cigars to impress his buddies.

And the wood is called Bubinga... which sounds like a conversation-starter to me!

Is this the ultimate in a luxury gift or what? First of all, it's stunning. The design is simple, classic and beautiful. I find myself just wanting it. For what, you might ask? Well, that's a good question. The website says you can store kindling in it, or architectural plans. OK, those are good ideas. But you can also use it for weeding the garden, take it shopping and put your groceries in it, carry a small puppy in it or even use it for ice. I mean, if you are going to spend this much for a bucket, you should use it every chance you get, right?

Can you imagine how soft this is? You can see it in the picture... you can practically FEEL how soft those pouches are. I can think of a few dad's who would love the luxury of this briefcase... if they have to go to work and carry (and read!) pounds of documents, they might as well be able to go in style.
