Liquid Smoking is a beverage, much like Red Bull, that mimics for the drinker the feeling of having smoked a cigarette but without the smoke or the nicotine. Through the use of an "indigenous African herbal extract," Liquid Smoking, according to the site, "has a slight energizing effect, followed by a sense of calming and relaxation." With many states recently having imposed a ban on indoor smoking, the company hopes that bars will pick up the beverage as a new mixer. I wonder if I could use this stuff to get my dad to quit smoking....

I used to put my kids in something like this Slanket when they were really young and I always thought it looked so comfortable and cozy. It's like a sleeping bag/blanket with arms! Great gift idea for cold winter nights. Unfortunately, I don't think the guy goes with it!
