Description

Keeps track of my rides and in a pinch I can use it to find my way back to where I started. Makes it very easy to keep track of your rides if you upload the ride to your computer.

CamelBak BlowFish Hydration Pack

First to recommend

Description

The Blowfish is an expandable pack capacious enough to carry all the tools a first aid kit and a jacket as well as my cell phone an energy bar and whaever else I might need for a normal ride. The most important part of any Camelbak pack is the integrated bladder system for water and the hose for easy drinking.

MSR Face Towel

First to recommend

Description

Made for camping and backpacking, I use the little attachment loop to attach it to my camelbak pack, that way I always have a towel handy to wipe my face or more importantly sunscreen out of my eyes.

Hayes Hydraulic Disc Brakes: HFX 9 XC

First to recommend

Description

There are many brands I use Hayes. The big thing is they make it easier to control your bike. They modulate well and are hard to lock up.

Crank Brothers Egg Beater SL

First to recommend

Description

These were a radical new design when the came out, very simple almost no moving parts impervious to mud and dirt that would cause other brands of clipless pedals to prevent you from clipping or unclipping when you most needed them to.
