Fish Desk Set by Pylones
First to recommend
Description
I gave these to dear ol' dad for father's day and man did it go over well. There was discussion of the different fish species represented and everything. I did remember to remove the razor blade from the box cutter before getting on my plane to pay pops a visit, by the way. The terrorist checker lady still felt compelled to get her philip's head screwdriver out and check the contents of the suspicious fish handle. (via delight)

tortoise: tenugui
First to recommend
Description
Traditional Japanese tenugui cloths wed art and function in that each is hand-dyed and wildly expressive - can bear anything from a goldfish print to a subtle pattern - and they can be used as anything from pot holder to scarf.
Three make an excellent gift or one, tied around another gift, is lovely giftwrapping.
Tortoise, which stocks the most elegant, useful and whimsical Japanese objects, sells them online... check out the rest of their store online or on Venice's Abbot Kinney.

Description
Like a glowing fish bowl... only you don't have to scrub algae once a week.
How lovely a bunch of these would be hanging in a backyard.

sardine towel - environment337
First to recommend
Description
Sardine dish towels from chic environment337.com. Spotted in this week's issue of "T."
P.S. "T" is the best lifestyle mag bar none. Bold, smart editorial covering a single topic per issue - men's and women's fashion, beauty, travel, home or living - is released semi-regularly on Sundays by the NYT. I will cancel Sunday plans when it arrives. Worth the price of subscription in and of itself. Oh, was I talking abotu dish towels?

Description
Goldfish! Paper!
I have no idea what to do with this... maybe line drawers. I haven't been doing much book binding lately though apparently it's very good for that application. But I am mad about it!

Anthropologie fish dishes (plastic)
First to recommend
Description
I have a weakness for fish-adorned items that is well documented in my credit card bills. These are particularly fetching: summer pop colors and friendly illustrations on plastic. I'm buying an assortment of colors and having a BBQ to christen them!
