Colorfast Biodegradable Crepe - Streamer Snow White

First to recommend

Description

What says a party like streamers? Whether you're in a parade or decorating for a party or picnic, streamers are necessary. These streamers are biodegradable so it won't matter if Fido decides to make them his next meal or if Junior tears them up and makes spur-of-the-moment confetti.

Congratulations, you're now 2/3's of the way to having a 4th of July streamer concoction. You've got the blue and the white...what does that leave? Check my next recommendation to find out. Again, these streamers are biodegradable making them the perfect eco-friendly party accessory.

Colorfast Biodegradable Crepe - Streamer Lipstick Red

Description

Red - the color of seduction ... oops, wrong rec. In this case, red is the 3rd and final addition to our streamer concoction of white, blue, and red. In some weird mixed up way green=red. Why green? This streamer is biodegradable and therefore green and therefore the best streamer ever.

Description

Bamboo, a sustainable & biodegradable resource makes for a sturdy plate on which to eat you 4th of July BBQ. It may be a little pricier than normal throw-a-way plates, but isn't that extra $1.50 totally worth it when saving the planet?

Sugarcaneware Compartment Plates

First to recommend

Description

If you're a picky eater like I am, then you don't really like your food touching on your plate (okay, so maybe it's OCD but who's checking?). These plates are made from leftover sugar cane fibers (I wonder if they taste like sugar cane? hmmm) and will make a terrific addition to your BBQ.

Natural Fiberware Plate

Description

I was reading the description for this plate and it was pretty interesting. They actually break down how long it takes to biodegrade and what animals can eat it. If you're a greenie, you've probably contemplated at one point or another where our disposed items go, especially our biodegradable ones and if they're as green as people say. Either way, your BBQ-laden plate will remind you when using natural fiberware.

Red Currant Soy Candle

Description

In keeping with the whole red, white, and blue theme, here's a red soy candle. Soy candles burn cleaner and longer than traditional candles and this red currant scented candle will no doubt leave your guests craving some berry pies.

Blueberry Pie Soy Candle

First to recommend

Description

I know the 4th of July is supposed to be about apple pie but blueberry pie sounds pretty nice too, even if it is via a candle. Soy candles are pretty sweet and although you can't tell when it's burning, it does feel greener. Either way, you're 4th better have some blueberry pie after you've got this baby burning for awhile.

White Tea & Ginger Soy Candle

First to recommend

Description

This is definitely the most exotic of the scented soy candles I've recommended for the 4th of July, but hey, isn't that what the US was built on? It's ability to accept the exotic into Liberty's large copper arms? Whether or not you're contemplating the US's foreign policy on Independence Day, this candle will be a delightful addition to any place.

MegaBin Recycling Bin

First to recommend

Description

This bin is extremely large and will help make your 4th of July celebration a recycling success. The blue makes it stand out amidst anything and you won't have to worry about constantly taking out the recycling when all you want to do is sip on a beer and wave a sparkler.
