Personalised good luck cards from Greetings by Photobox
First to recommend
Description
I've been thinking about what Michelle Obama might have bought Barack to wish him luck. And thinking that is probably the most difficult gift buying decision ever! So for normal wives and girlfriends, then I'd try some of these. I love the cards at Greetings by Photobox, and the fact that you can personalise them. Loads to choose from, for every occasion, and they are very reasonable too.

Cross Compact Ballpoint Pen

Description
Imagine you go and play a blinder at interview and land the job/bank loan/woman/ of your dreams. Really, do you want to sign the contract with a chewed up Bic? I think you'd be much better off with something like the Cross Compact. So, if you're loved one is off on interview, get them something decent in case they need to sign for something.

Description
Just when you need to get some decent sleep, like the night before a big interview, is just the time it's likely to evade you. I love the Badger products, and would recommend this if your loved one is heading into a stressful time.

Pocket Garden - Lucky Clover
First to recommend
Description
This is a cute good luck gift, as you get to grow your own clover. Which will hopefully contain at least one of the four leaf variety. It's a bit different, a great sentiment, and it will make him smile, which helps to relax you. Which can only be a good thing! (via ProblemPresents.com)

Lucky pants from Boden

Description
Writing about good luck gifts for him, I applied the same logic I apply to myself. Just because you have to be sensible on the outside does not mean it has to be sensible underneath. Bright underwear is practically obligatory for sensible occasions. The more sensible the occasion, the brighter and more inappropriate your pants should be. So, these are for a man on a moderately sensible occasion. Especially the red ones.

Barack Obama Action Figure - because yes, we can
First to recommend
Description
I love this for being current and not a bad likeness. But really I would it send it to your loved one if he is having a moment of self doubt. All it needs is a gift tag saying "Yes you can" (via Problem Presents Blog)
