About this list:

Rise and shine Sunshine! If you are anything like me, you are not a morning person......AT ALL! I hit snooze at least 3 or 4 times every morning. But with these alarm clocks, hitting snooze might not be so easy and we might just be forced to unwillingly pick ourselves up out of bed.

Qualifications:

My years of experience avoiding getting out of bed.

Puzzle Alarm Clock

First to recommend

Description

Reminiscent of the popular 1970’s IQ test games which required you to put different shaped pieces into their matching holes, the puzzle clock requires you to put 3 different shaped objects into their matching holes to turn the alarm off in the morning. The alarm sound will continue until all three pieces are put back into their matching holes ensuring that the person is awake and will not fall back asleep.

Description

An alarm clock with a Valentine's Day theme (or at least color) is difficult to find. Hopefully, if things work out, you'll be getting a little use out of this clock when waking up next to your valentine.

Sfera Alarm

Description

The Sfera alarm clock hangs from the ceiling above your bed. When the alarm goes off, you can reach up and touch it to activate the snooze function causing it retract towards the ceiling. When snooze goes off again, you have to reach higher to activate the snooze again. Each time you activate the snooze function the alarm retracts a little higher to the point that you get your butt out of bed. (via uberreview.com)

Nobby the Voice Recognition Clock

First to recommend

Description

Nobby: the alarm clock that verbally abuses you until you knock it around!
To make him stop throwing insults your way, you have to wring the Nobbster’s neck.

The adorable Nobby Alarm Clock has a unique personality that you can interact with, and gives answers to six different questions and commands including 'How are you feeling?', 'Sing me a song', 'Make a decision', 'How do I look?', 'Are you hungry?', and 'Go to sleep'.

Nobby uses artificial intelligence to respond to your voice and he'll reply to your questions or commands with some cheeky backchat! This crazy interactive alarm clock likes it when you say his name, responding with a cheery 'Yo' or 'That's me!'

Like the best of us, Nobby can be a little sensitive, so don't shout at him or he may give you the silent treatment!

Another puzzle alarm clock!

It wakes you up by firing four puzzle pieces up in the air, and then it is your task to get the pieces and put them back in the alarm clock - it won't turn off until then.

Soleil Sunrise Alarm Clock

First to recommend

Description

Like a sunrise, the Soleil Sunrise Alarm Clock light/dawn simulator wakes you naturally and peacefully for the day ahead. The light alarm gradually increases the intensity of its special built-in light, simulating a natural sunrise. Your body wakes instinctively, as if waking with the light of the sun. This natural method of waking up leaves you feeling refreshed, energized, and in a better mood. Clinical studies at the National Institute of Health indicate that waking to light has been known to help people with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), various forms of depression, and sleep disorders to overcome their problems by increasing daytime energy, limiting winter weight gain, and allowing them to wake up easier.

ANEMONE CLOCK

Description

What sort of mad engineer does it take to make an alarm clock more annoying? First Clocky, now this. Aaron Tang's Anemone Clock rumbles when the alarm goes off, eventually shaking its way all across your room, forcing you to get up to stop it. But that's not all — it keeps shaking when you pick it up, making it a frustrating exercise just to find the off button
