Description
This is one of the most useful tools ever (and its free)! You sign up for a free Jott account. You then add the Jott number to your cell phone. Let's say you need to remind yourself of something or think of some fantastic idea. You call your Jott number and then leave yourself a message, which is turned into text and emailed to you (you can set any email address you want your Jotts to be sent to). Wait....it gets better, you can also send Jotts to groups of people too. You can also email yourself a Jott, but if I'm sitting at my computer, I wouldn't need to do that. I drive a lot and am constantly thinking of things I need to do, etc. and so I just leave myself a Jott...I then have it in a handy email that I can add to my calendar or to do list. Awesome!

The absolute best and most useful site I visit on a daily basis (aside from ThisNext)! I would be sad without this site.

One of my must have sites! I am an information junkie! With Netvibes, I can have all my feeds sorted by handy tabs (for example, I have a Web 2.0 tab, a Music tab, etc.). I know Google and Pageflakes, to name a few have something similar, but I feel Netvibes is the best! Check it out!

How I love Gmail! I'm always on the go, so webmail makes the most sense for me. I get very upset at work where I am forced to use Outlook! Blehhh! I love labels, I love archives, I love everything about Gmail. And with Greasmonkey and a few choice scripts installed to go with it from userscripts.org, there is nothing that can beat it. Gmail Super Clean is one of my fav. scripts to use with Greasemonkey for Gmail. It makes Gmail so purty!

Greasemonkey :Firefox Add-on

Description
The absolute single most useful Add On I have installed. I can never imagine being without my beloved Greasemonkey.
Greasemonkey is a plugin for the Firefox web browser. It allows you to change how your favorite pages behave and look. There are many scripts that have already been written, and if you know javascript you can easily create your own!
My favorite site to install scripts from is:
http://userscripts.org/
Enjoy!

I love being organized. This site really helps me to keep track of all of my ToDos, both personal and professional. I like that it is web based so I can access it anywhere. I especially love I can access it in my Google Calendar (and in Netvibes too).

Welcome to LinkedIn

Description
This is a great networking site. A great way to stay networked with colleagues and friends....to see what they are up to professionally. Also a great way to look for a job and make new contacts. The idea being that either a friend or a friend of a friend might have someone in their network with a job you are interested in or someone you know might have a contact at a company you are interested or in an industry you would like to get into, etc.. Through your friend you can ask for an introduction. You can also give people you have worked with recommendations and they can do the same for you. This goes a long way, especially when you apply for jobs posted on the Linked In site. Think of it as giving employers good references in advance.

WeekDate the "Only Write It Once" calendar for people with busy schedules

Description
OMG! Whoever thought of this is a genius. As much as I utilize a variety of on-line sites to keep track of my schedule, tasks, etc. I also like to keep a paper version I can write on. With this brilliant calendar there are three different independent sections that can flip. Your on-going tasks go on the top, the middle part is your daily tasks and the bottom weekly tasks. So amazing. I can't live without this. Also, they offer a money back guarantee if you are not completely happy! What have you got to loose?

Another great on-line To Do list in the vein of Remember the Milk. You can add tasks to Google Calendar just like you can with Remember the Milk (this is an important feature for me). What is really cool about this site, is you can print out your list in a really handy booklet format. An account is free, so what have you got to loose?

Flock Browser - The Social Web Browser

Description
Are you a Web 2.0 junkie like me? Do you need your Twitter, Digg, Facebook, etc. all the time. Would you love to have it all in one place? You might already be using the fantastic browser that is called Flock (it is based on Mozilla, so you don't have to worry about it being some clugey IE type of browser). If not, you need to download this ASAP. You can easily have and check all of your social web accounts in one central location. As Martha Stewart would say, it's a good thing!

Music by women who are true Mavens (and a few who are new on the scene and appear to be up and coming Mavens, IMO).
