I don't know how I feel about this statue. It kind of has that Batman beyond/Japanese animation flair to it. I can't say that I am completely for it. I am old school and I love my Marvel comic characters as they were from the 1990's.

Iron Man War Machine - Collectible Items

Now we did not get to see War machine in the first Iron man movie but hey, you got to save something for the sequel. I am really looking forward to the next iron man movie. From what I hear, Marvel has opened their own company which has allowed them to have greater control of the movies and actors. If this is true (and please slam me if it is not) then my hats off to them. Maybe now they can redo Fantastic Four 2 rise of the Silver Surfer.

Now me and my friend get into a mini arguement when we says that since Nick Fury is white in the comic books, he should be white in the movies (Samuel L. Jackson is playing him in Iron man 1). The skin color is irrelevant when talking aobut comic book characters. Unless them being black, asian, hispanic etc somehow ties into their origins. Nick Fury is a dude who came up the ranks to become head of shield. How does him being Black in the movies change any of that?
