Kaki King - Dreaming of Revenge

What can I say about this virtuoso on the acoustic guitar. I have been listening to this album every chance I get and it really shows a level of maturity over her previous works. I still am not a huge fan of her singing, but she does a great job here. Also, check out her work with Dave Grohl and Eddie Vedder.

Description

Being a budding audiophile, headphones are my preferred listening medium. I have a pair of the predecessors to these hooked up to my work rig and it sounds magical. Open design means you probably should not be blasting you tunes but it also means you can hear someone sneak up behind you. Probably (one of) the standards for high quality cans.

This YouTube phenom has impressed not only me but everyone I have sent the link to. His appearance and mannerisms are most likely an act but his talent is genuine. I find myself watching the Rocky Theme remix every morning at work. Then again, after lunch. Check out this versatile and funloving artist.

This is one of my favorite tees. I don't necessarily recommend this vendor, just this design. I got mine in Little Tokyo, on 2nd Street. It's Joy Division's album cover. No, I am not a fan, nor do I own the record. The tee's hot though.

Singlepower Audio PPX-6SN7 Tube Amplifier

I was among the first to purchase one of the Singlepower Audio tube amps. The version I have is a slightly modified PPX3 which is their base model. This one is a step up and takes 6SN7 tubes instead of the cheaper 6CG7 mine takes. It's expertly constructed and it drives headphones (even the HD600's) very well. I have never had any problems with it. If I did, I know the support is excellent.

David Ford - Songs For The Road

I just got this in my mailbox the other day so I thought I'd toss on the cans and take a listen. This is one smooth cat. Great music paired with a good voice. Generally indie whiney guys annoy me but Ford isn't like that at all. Ok, maybe a little emotional, but that's alright. Check this album out!
