Verizon Wireless gets into the worldphone game with today's release of the the Blackberry 8830, their first true world/smartphone that's actually usable.
Rocking a dual network setup (CDMA/GSM), the 8830 allows you to get EVDO speeds in the US and when you jetset to Europe or some other foreign country, you skip over to the GSM network (the standard in pretty much the rest of the world).
Definitely a hot device and the way to go on the VZW network if you want a blackberry and travel. (via Engadget)

The Apple iPod Touch is something everyone should get. I got mine for Christmas and I've loved it ever since. You can listen to music, go on the internet, watch videos, and store pictures, but now it's better then ever now it comes with the new software( came out in jan.) and now you can put wigets on your home screen, look at a map to help you get the directions you need for a trip, look at the weather, mail, and stocks, and you can also make a note for yourself for later with the app. Notes. all of this on a touchable screen... on a iPod. It's really worth every penny
