Pumpkin Chowder
First to recommend
Description
Alright alright. So the image and packaging don't immediately sitr up a desire to indulge, but once you read on you'll be chomping at the bit to cook up a batch. This chowder is made from fresh pumpkin, rice, and garden vegetables, seasoned with herbs and spices, and sweetened with a touch of brown sugar. It is salt free, vegetarian, and vegan, and a delicious meal to make for yourself or your holiday guests. Put pumpkin in anything and I'm sold.

Blue Diamond Almond Milk
4 people recommended this item
Description
Here's a little secret. I have to restrain myself from buying Chocolate Almond Breeze when at the grocery store because I know that I will drink all of it in...24 hours. It's so amazingly delicious that I conciously have to tell myself, "No Emily. You need more in your system than almond milk today."
Aside from that, the original flavor is my favorite. I use it in cereal , smoothies, and drink it just like milk. Almond Milk is also great for camping because it's non perishable until you open it, and even after you have about 2 days to drink it (varies). Delicious. I don't know what I'd do without it.

Vegan Simmer Soup Mixes
First to recommend
Description
These soups are so good and have lower sodium content than most soups you'll find out there. Just add water (for the Cha Cha Chili flavor a can of tomato paste is required as well). Each bag makes 5-8 servings. Simmer for 20-30 minutes and you have a delicious, low calorie soup and hearty soup for you and your guests, or to keep in your fridge for the whole week.

Dr. Praeger's Tex Mex Veggie Burgers
First to recommend
Description
Dr. Praeger's tag line is "Where you recognize all the ingredients" - which is what got me hooked in the beginning. I was tired of eating veggie burgers comprised mostly of products I hadn't heard of before - vegan or not (I try to avoid eating too much soy). Dr. Praeger's veggie burgers are delicious and made of all natural ingredients. The first four ingredients in these burgers are carrots, black beans, onions, and string beans. What beats that?
Cook in a toaster grill or on a BBQ - they get a little messy if you do it in a skillet (they're only downfall) - other than that you will love them.

This is so handy! I bet it can make rice milk too - my fav. Make your own milks, porridges, and soups in this machine. A great way to save money and have fresh soymilk in 15 minutes!

Vegan Taco Filling Mix
First to recommend
Description
Yum yum yum - a delicious alternative to beef tacos. Add soy-based mix to boiling water and you've got delicious cruelty-free tacos. Just don't add any cheese or sour cream (as they did on the box) - haha. Completely vegan, quick, and only $2.49.
I like I like.

Seitan Quick Mix

Description
Seitan is such a great meat alternative. I personally don't like to each too much soy, so seitan is a savior. With this mix, making your own seitan is a breeze in your home. Just add water to form the dough, then boil the dough in the broth of your choice, and you've got seitan du juor. I'm not sure how much it makes but I'd imagine it will last you for at least a week, and the mix is only $2.49.
Use the seitan in a variety of dishes to add some meaty flavor and texture. Yum!
