This blue right here, the not quite turquoise, the not quite lagoon, the not quite seawater is such a good color! I'd love this dress for the color alone, but in addition to the color it's actually quite a fun dress. It looks like it would be comfortable just kicking around on a lazy summer day.

In the fall and winter I wear skirts by the dozen, in the spring and summer it's dresses. And this navy blue dress looks like it would be an excellent addition to anyone's summer wardrobe. It's casual with it's strapless top and floral baby doll bottom but with the right accessories could do day or a night at the beach.

This cute little corset styled polka dotted shirt reminds me a 40s pinup girl. I feel like hair should be curled and you should be wearing a pair of capris on a beach somewhere. Blue and white polka dots always scream nautical to me and nautical implies summer!

Cherry Gingham Bathing Suits

Description

Normally a skirt on a bathing suit means you have something to hide. But for this bathing suit, I'd gladly wear the skirt...it's part of the whole ensemble. This pink gingham bikini is definitely cute. From the ruffles and ribbon to pink and white check and cherries, it's a suit that emphasized that you are a girl and aren't scared of that.

Florals. It seems that no matter the year, no matter the trend there is always some version of flowers that peek out. This year on the maxi dress, I'm adoring this stylized tulip. Isn't it pretty? I could see wearing this dress on a lazy warm summer day, on vacation or on the weekend!

I can't wait for it to get warm enough to go to the lake (no ocean out here, the lake is the closest I get to the beach). Coverups for the beach can leave you looking less than stylish when you head out to grab dinner after a day at the beach. Not this one though! I'm loving the polka dots, the length and most of all....the price!

If I've every seen a dress that's ripe for slipping intlo mid morning when you are on the Maine coast and wandering around it, I don't what it is. This dress is beautiful, dark purple, floral and I think great for a beach town...or those wishing they were in a beach town. Might be something I have to grab before I head up to the coast!

Tory Burch Flower Thong Flats

As many heels as I have in my wardrobe, I also like flats. And while in the fall and winter my ballet flats get a work out, in the spring and summer it's sandals, thongs and flip flops. These bright yellow thongs are amazingly bright, fun and they look comfy. They kind of look like those shoes that you get to match an outfit and then without realizing become the shoes you wear all summer long.

Even when I'm not wearing straight out lolita, I still like to have elements of lolita style in my daily style. This black and white striped dress can be poufed and accessorized out to be lolita wear (it is Victorian Maiden after all), but I could see wearing it places where a petticoat isn't always going to fit (bot physically and metaphorically).

I like lipstick, but I also like layering gloss on top of lipstick, or on causal days just slipping on a gloss instead of a heavy stick. This lip glace look wonderful and perfect for summer! I think I could live in this shirt all summer (well not really since I can't wear sleeveless shirts to my new job). It pairs with lolita, it pairs with jeans, it pairs with those black pants or skirt for going out. It's just too perfect. Corset styling and ruffles combine in either pink, ivory or black. I favor the ivory of white.

I've been going around in circles on this dress. On one hand I like it's simple style, it's soft cotton and it's minimalist design. This is a perfect hanging around on vacation, sailing on a sail boat, playing badminton summer dress. It has a very Great Gasby feel to it with the drop waist and pleated skirt. I'm not sure what it is about this cardigan that I'm loving so much. I Think it might be the cross between a sweater and a jacket. I think it might be the color (almost poppy red), I think it might be the buttons. Whatever it is, I see myself wearing this cardigan everywhere. It's a summer essential before for cold nights near the ocean or in the mountains or in the early mornings. Layering on vacation is key!

Best picnic table ever! What the worst thing about picnic tables, either they are too small or the seating is too low/high. This table solves both issues with it's adjustable seating that can go all the way up and become part of the table again. It seat between 8 (with the benches down) and 12 (with the benches up). An awesome table for a summer home, or just your home for summer cookouts.

I like this corset because though you can tell it's a good corset, and you can tell that time and effort has gone into it. It's not flashy, it's not over the top.
