Supply And Demand: The Art of Shepard Fairey

Description
Supply and Demand: The Art of Shepard Fairey is an excellent look into the path Shepard took in becoming an artist and entrepreneur. Starting out with stickers and posters of "OBEY" the images began to cross the globe. It was a very interesting art experiment that is truly inspiring.

Description
I just picked up Full Vinyl: The Subversive Art of Designer Toys last night. The book is a great resource and inspiration for those who are either collecting designer vinyl or like myself, getting ready to start my own custom vinyls. The book has glossy pages, great photos cover to cover and provides a great deal of insight into the the world of vinyl.

Description
Fiske Word Power is an excellent book for those, like myself, that want to expand their vocabulary. The authors developed "The Exclusive System to Learn-Not Just Memorize-Essential Words". The book uses patterns, deeper meaning, more examples and also has quizzes at the end of each chapter. The system is very easy to use and allows you to continue expanding your vocabulary at your own pace.

Sun Tzu Was a Sissy: Conquer Your Enemies, Promote Your Friends, and Wage the Real Art of War
First to recommend
Description
While I read a translated version of "The Art of War" that related to the business world, Sun Tzu Was a Sissy, has to be one of the funniest and most humorous reads. Stanley Bing not only turns the "Smart A$$" world up side down, but re-writes the scripture on office politics like no other.
While I thought I was one of the sharpest pencils in the box, one of the brightest crayons in the box, you know... I was the one that always had seven beers in a six pack, I have nothing on Bing.
Grab your pocket protector; Treo and your bus pass... This is white collar war at its best!!!

Audible.com

Description
Audible.com is a great resource for "books on tape" (for lack of a better term). I use Audible mostly for business and non-fiction books as they don't require much imagination. For fiction books, I tend to read them as I like to use my imagination while I read. Audible has plans that start at $9.95 on up to $22.95. Audible is actually a good deal when you consider you might pay over $20.00 for a new book at a traditional brick and mortar store, when you can actually get the book from Audible for around $15.00.

Battlefield of the Mind: Winning the Battle in Your Mind
First to recommend
Description
Battle Field of the Mind is an amazing read. For those of us who have ever struggled with self doubt, worrying or self criticism, the book is a must. The book provides very thought provoking insight on how to deal with the daily inner struggles that some people experience. The book is Christian based, but it isn't a holy rolling, bible thumping read, as Joyce Meyer presents the material very well.

Description
Urb magazine has gone through a complete transformation. There was a time when it seemed as if they were more concerned about add space and forgot what music was all about. Well that time has come to an end.
Urb is back, and they are providing much more music content than before. Urb has broadened it's coverage of different genres, while keeping the "Urban" feel of the underground scene, culture and lifestyle of music for the aficionados and fans.
