Concertino
First to recommend
Description
The Concertino combines the modernity of the iPod with an old-fashioned way of listening to music. It uses a triode tube based amplifier and matching speakers to provide quality sound. The set is a bit boxy-techno (what can we say, it's German) but it would be nice for enjoying your iPod at the office. Plus the tubes glow while it's working so it's a great distraction. Available for around $4,000. (via Luxist)

Wood Contour Corian computer
First to recommend
Description
I've seen wood computers but this is the first one I have ever seen made of durable Corian which is usually seen on kitchen counters. Wood Contours makes one-of-a-kind keyboards, monitors and mice in a wide variety of woods from basic beech to birdseye maple but they also create them in just about every shade of Corian. The Corian system includes a USB keyboard, wireless mouse and a 17 or 19-inch LCD screen. The wood is definitely more office-friendly but you could get this to blend right in with your kitchen counter. (via Luxist)

Description
We're a connected generation and we don't need to apologize for it. Just take a cursory glance around the airport and see how many people are sitting under payphones because the last thing you want is your iPod or laptop to die on airplane where they think starving me or bending me over and screwing me for a bag peanuts is going to make me a happier traveler. I'll call the air marshals myself if my iPod dies next to the senile grandma in the middle seat.
